Volunteer Information

"Got volunteers?" Let's face it, our co-op wouldn't happen without help from every member. That's why volunteering for co-op is part of your membership requirement. There are lots of different ways you can help out. And it's fun!

Co-op Friday Volunteer Opportunities
Spend some time on co-op pickup days (Friday mornings) in exchange for some laughs, a few extra veggies or fruit, and a sense of a job well done.

Here is what we need each pick-up day (times are approximate and subject to change):

  • Sorters 7:30-9:00 am (6 needed)
  • Registrations 8:30-11 am (1 needed)
  • Basket distribution 8:50-10:30 am (3 needed)
  • Clean up 10:30-11 am (2 needed)

Other Volunteer Opportunities
Can't help out on "Co-op Fridays"? We have other volunteer opportunities available, for instance:

  • Help with produce pickup on Thursdays before co-op
  • Donate your graphic design or copywriting talents to help with Co-op marketing efforts
  • Organizationally-minded? Join a co-op committee and lend your talent, energy and expertise
  • Help out at special events
  • Got web skills? If you're a database programmer, we need your help!

You can do it! And to get you motivated, we will be introducing a new Incentive Program soon, for the member with the most volunteer hours each quarter.
